Elle grew up in South Minneapolis and has always felt most at home in nature, which led her to study Environmental Science & Sustainability in college. With a creative passion for writing, photography, and storytelling, she discovered how marketing can be a powerful tool for communicating environmental ideas and connecting people to the natural world. Her curiosity about the world took her far beyond the Midwest—working on a biodynamic farm in Finland, studying sustainable engineering in Bangalore, India, and eventually landing in San Diego, where she discovered her passion for marketing. Eventually, her journey brought her back home to Minnesota and to the biota team.
